How To Boil And Roast Yam

boiled and roast yam

Boiling is one of the simplest and most popular ways to cook most tubers.

Boiled yam, potato or sweet potato, especially yam, is common in most homes.

The boiled tubers most times are served with sauce, stew or soup.

On the other hand, roasting is another way to cook yam.

It’s not commonly prepared in most homes,

Most often they are bought from food vendors.

Roasting has a different taste and feel, it’s a bit dry

This process does not require water to cook the food.

Aside from yam other tubers such as potatoes, sweet potato, cassava and cocoyam are boiled and roasted too.
